Amphitheater
Located on the south end of Grand Lake just outside Disney, Oklahoma, Picture In Scripture Amphitheater has been bringing stories from the Bible to life for over 35 years. Best known for “The Man Who Ran”, the dramatic presentation of Jonah, Jesus and the great fish, the amphitheater has become one of Grand Lake’s favorite tourist attractions. In addition to Jonah’s story, the prophet Elijah was showcased in “The Elijah Factor” , Paul’s conversion on the “Damascus Road” and new for 2023 “Ruth: The Story of Redemption”.

To date, over 275,000 have visited the amphitheater from all 50 of the states and 124 foreign countries.

We are so excited to announce that we will be presenting a new show this summer every Friday and Saturday night, June 16 – July 22.
Our Location
Picture in Scripture Amphitheater is located in Disney, Oklahama.
Disney, Oklahoma is located on the south end of Grand Lake o’ the Cherokees, 60 miles northeast of Tulsa.
Take Highway 28 east to Disney. Continue on through the town, go another 3.5 miles east on 28. Look for the Picture In Scripture Amphitheater billboard on the right (with 1 yellow flag on it). Turn left at that corner (S. 510 Rd.), then go 1 mile north.

My husband and I really had a nice evening. We got there really early because I was wrong on the time. But the weather was perfect, considering it was mid-July. The grounds were peaceful to stroll and the performance was wonderful. They are doing good works there!
